Artist Statement
Hi there! My name is Isabel and I’m a Rossie currently based in Galway. My interests are in digital illustration, book cover design and branding and visual identities.
My final project is an illustrated card game based on the Irish mythological story of the Bull of Cooley. The aim of my project is to reconnect Irish children with Ireland’s mythology in order to engage children and carry on oral tradition for the next generation.
The project has a strong focus on illustration and subtle inclusion of Irish symbols. More info can be found on the project website below.
