Kristina Orlova is an Estonian semi-realistic concept artist and illustrator that is interested in painting in the Fantasy and Sci-fi genre. Her work is inspired from a variety of MMORPGs she has played during childhood as well as anime. She is currently working on expanding on her art skills and going outside her comfort zone. During her art process, her technique can be very flexible as she explores different painting methods. She plans on exploring traditional painting in a modern digital form in the future.


By Kristina Orlova. 2D: “Fantasy Concept Art” 1062 X 674 px Description: This is a concept art sheet I did for my entrepreneurship project. One of my biggest inspirations for designing armor and characters comes from my childhood MMORPGS, Tera Online and Vindictus.

By Kristina Orlova. 2D: “Dragon” 3000 x 2000 px Description: This is a practice illustration I did to bring myself outside of my comfort zone with designing and rendering creatures, complex poses and environments. This piece depicts a barbaric girl in the process of dealing a deadly blow to a dragon.

By Kristia Orlova. 2D : “Fantasy Girl” 7000 x 10000 px Description: This is a study painting I did of a girl as a way to practice my fundamentals. One of the things I really enjoy about the piece is the cute cat shaped earrings. I am proud of how it turned out, especially with the detail in the eyes and the lighting and render of the face overall.
